Meet Our Committee
Josiah
Co-President 2024
Hello! I'm Josiah, a 6th year medic at Queens' College. Outside of work, I enjoy running, cooking and art! My advice to prospective medicine applicants is to be genuine and be yourself. Don't try too hard to impress and be honest and realistic about your reasons for wanting to do medicine :)
Ameer
Co-President 2024
Hey I’m Ameer, a third year at Caius College. I am also access officer for Cambridge’s Medical society. I hope to organise lots of fun outreach events for our students. I remember how nervous I was when I applied for medicine; I want to make sure the application process goes as smoothly for all prospective students, regardless of background. In my spare time I like drama, art and learning German!
Safa
Secretary
Hi! I’m Safa, a 4th year at Downing College. As a sixth form student, I attended CamWAMS events which I found very valuable for my application. I’ve been involved in organising various access programmes during my time at university, and I look forward to continuing to help other prospective applicants through CamWAMS!
